Nigeria: The Ministerial List (Nominees)

After much speculations and anticipations from Nigerians and the world. The Senate President, Bukola Saraki, on Tuesday, October 6 announced the 21 ministerial nominees contained in the list sent to him by President Muhammadu Buhari on Wednesday, September 30.

Bukola Saraki who read the list around 10:45am  after opening the sealed envelope, said the list contained the first batch of nominees and that the subsequent names according to the president are expected shortly.


The nominees are:

2. Abdurahman Bello Dambazzau
3. Aisha Jumai Al Hassan
4. Alhaji Lai Mohammed
5. Babatunde Raji Fashola
6. Adebayo Shittu
7. Solomon Dalong
8. Senator Chris Ngige
9. Rotimi Amaechi
10. Chief Audu Ogbeh 
11. Mrs. Amina Ibrahim
12. Dr. Osagie  Ehaneri
13. Emmanuel Kachukwu
14. Dr. Kayode Fayemi
15. Engr. Suleiman Adamu
16. Mrs. Kemi Adeosun
17. Dr. Ogbonnaya Onu
18. Hon. Ahmed Musa Bello
19. Ibrahim Usman Jubrin
20. Senator Hadi Serika
21. Senator UdoUdoma

The Senate also noted that screening of nominees would commence on Tuesday, October 13.
