Open Letter To Rahama Sadau - By Mallam Aminu Daurawa

Kano-based Islamic scholar and Commander-General of the Hisbah Board, Mallam Aminu Ibrahim Daurawa, has waded into the expulsion of popular Hausa actress, Rahama Ibrahim Sadau from the Motion Pictures Practitioners Association of Nigeria, MOPPAN. He called on banned Kannywood actress, Rahama Sadau not to honour the invitation extended to her to visit the Hollywood in Los Angeles, USA (read here).

In an open letter he wrote to Rahama on Facebook in Hausa, Mallam Daurawa described the problem the actress had with Kanywood as trial from God to test her faith.
He added that, "Islam agrees with people being told to mend their ways when they make mistake".
Shortly after her expulsion, the Kaduna-born actress was invited by US-based Nigerian film-maker, Jeta Amata, and international star, Aliaume Damala Badara Akon Thiam, better known as Akon, to visit the set of their new film in Hollywood, Los Angeles.

He also suggested that, "marriage would be better for the actress".
