Behold The Most Outstanding Inspiring Beauty Queen in Philanthropy/Charity Projects - Queen Carmelita Akieh

When recognition follows your works, there is always that drive to push further and do more. It is always a good feeling to be nominated for an award, but an even greater feeling to bring the award home.

Queen Carmelitha Akieh seemed not to be resting on her oars as she has been relentlessly engaging in one philanthropic campaign or the other in a bid to better humanitarian services and development (read here).

These giant strides of hers has ofcourse not gone unnoticed as the organizers of Glitz and Glamour award nominated her in the award category of: Outstanding Inspiring Beauty Queen in Philanthropy/Charity Projects; which I'm proud to say she brought home.

Receiving the award the Queen had this to say:

"Words cannot express my feelings, nor my thanks for all your help financially, morally and otherwise. If the world had more people like you all, it would be a better place. Once again I'm grateful to everyone who has believed in my mission thus far.
