You may have been seeing #freezakzaky on walls and posters on the streets and wondered what its actually all about?
Well, members of the Shitte Islamic group yesterday afternoon staged a peaceful protest in Potiskum, Yobe state, where they called for the release of their leader, Ibrahim El-Zakzaky who has been in military custody since December 12th, 2015.
The Islamic leader and some of his members were detained after a clash with the Nigerian Army in Zaria, Kaduna state. See photos below...
