It seems a lot of American celebs are beginning to pick a lot of interest in politics. Following Kanye West and Lindsey Lohan declarations to run for president in 2020; an American rapper by the name Waka Flocka has also declared his intention to run for Speaker of the House.
“Ever since I was a kid, I always wanted to be a rapper [but] it was always a means to an end. My real dream, you see, was to run Congress and that’s why I’m announcing my candidacy for Speaker of the House".
“So call your representatives — Republican, Tea Party, Freedom Caucus — and tell them you want me, Waka Flocka Flame, as Speaker of the motherf**king House,” he added.
“Anyone can be Speaker of the House. There’s no law against it and it’s a job I want.”
Flame then revealed some of the policy positions he would take upon assuming the Speakership mantle on Capitol Hill.
